How do we book you?
Reach out via the contact form or social media. We will find a date that works, a proposal will be sent, and a $50 retainer fee and signed contract is required to secure the date/time.
What gear do you use?
I love using and playing with natural light, so my gear is pretty simple. I recently upgraded to a Nikon Mirrorless system that includes a zoom and a couple primes. From time to time you will see me reach for a flash or reflector, but most of the time it's just me and my lens.
Do you Travel?
Travel within 40 miles of Oak Lawn, IL 60453 is included. Contact me for travel outside of this range for additional fees.
How do we get our photos?
My pricing is all-inclusive, so you will receive a private online gallery that you can download and share.
What's your turn around time?
The turn around time is 14 days after the original session date. Except if your session is booked during the peak season of September-November, in which case, delivery is estimated within 21 days of the original session date.
Can you help us with planning?
DEFINETLY! I love offering suggestions and working with my families to make our time together successful. Once booked, you will also receive a brochure that will help guide you along the way.
How far out do you book?
Typically, 2-12 weeks out depending on the type of session and time of year. Newborn sessions can be put on the schedule as early as 4-6 months from the due date.
If you are looking for something last minute, in never hurts to send me a message to see if I have any openings. You never know!
How do we choose a location?
We can do a session basically anywhere there is light. I have my favorite locations that I will recommend, but if there is somewhere special to your family, or a place you have in mind, I'm always happy to check it out. Keep in mind, that there are some locations that require an additional permit fee and parking fees. I will apply for necessary permits; however, any costs associated with extra permits and parking is the responsibility of the client and will be added to the invoice prior to the session.
What should we wear?
First, and foremost, I always recommend families wear something they are comfortable in. It helps to pick one outfit, and coordinate around it. And, if you have any questions or need another set of eyes, shoot me a quick pic! When you book you will also receive a brochure guiding you through this process.
Do you retouch photos?
Short answer: Yes. I shoot in RAW format and hand edit each and every photo I release in a gallery. This gives my full creative freedoms without the camera picking how it thinks it should look. Edits include temperature, tint, exposure, contrast, color adjustments, and slight cleaning of skin and imperfections. An additional hourly fee is added for any additional touchups and editing requested.
